I do not recommend this dentist or office. Dr. Shah came in, tapped each tooth with her instrument, scraped one tooth then said everything looked great. I was the last appointment of the day and you could tell she was ready to leave. After she left, I asked the dental hygienist if that quick of an encounter was standard and she said yes because my x-rays looked good. But I hadn't had x-rays since 2019! (This appt was January 2022). By the time the hygienist realized, she went to grab Dr. Shah but she was already out the door. We did the x-rays and I was told Dr. Shah would call me the next day with the results. I never received a call. I had to call multiple times & leave a message. Finally, after I kept calling, I got in touch 2 weeks later and the receptionist read my x-ray results over the phone to me. I will not be returning. I do not recommend this dentist or office. I have been going to Parmer Dental Care since 2019 because Dr. Blankenship had such good reviews. In the three years, I have seen 3 different dentists. Not once was I notified that the dentist changed until I showed up for my appointment and found out.
Had a terrible experience here. The receptionist forgot to schedule my filling so I had to get more shots than needed. When the dentist finally got to my filling, I could feel a sharp pain in my tooth, even though they’d already put in 4 shots. For one cavity filling. So they proceeded to give me 2 more shots and it was just really stressful and uncomfortable. The dentist kept poking my mouth and saying, “can you feel that?” And I definitely could feel a lot of pain, which was terrifying. The dentist kept saying, “huh that’s weird you can feel it.” Which was not comforting to hear. Very concerning. So it was just a back and forth of more shots and more drilling that was insanely uncomfortable. I understand this could have just been a one-off bad experience that I had, however it was the most brutal dental experience I’ve ever had so I thought I’d share it. Won’t be going back here again.
Just got a cleaning done and had no problems. Quick service and easy to book appointments with a call. Very friendly dentist and staff that give great results!
I had a horrible experience at this office. I got the dates mixed up initially the office manager was leaving when I came she asked for my social in the doorway so she could look up my insurance. I trusted her and gave it to her and she wrote it in a binder. The next day we had ice we rescheduled. Two weeks later I come into the office she says she can not find my insurance she called and left a voicemail the day before (valentine's day). This office had my information for over a month I never got new patient paperwork emailed to me. I was not emailed or texted about her not being able to locate my insurance until the day before. Just to paint a picture I sat in traffic for two hours with two kids and then walked in hands full for her to tell me we could not be seen when I was visibly upset she said I could pay full price for the visit. I went on to call my insurance and it verified while she listened they are my dentist office she then went on to state they needed a FAX for verification. What the heck.. all of this could have been handled in the weeks before the appointment. If you are a busy person please do not waste your time with this office. I don't know how the dentist is never made it that far.
